Claude Monet House:
Claude Monet lived for forty-three years, from 1883 to 1926, in his house in Giverny. With a passion for gardening as well as for colors, he conceived both his ower garden and water garden as works of art. Walking through his house and gardens, you can still feel the atmosphere which reigned at the home of the Master of Impressionism and marvel at the oral composition and nymphéas, his greatest sources of inspiration.
- Visiting Claude Monet house takes 1,5 hour, but you may walk in the village's main street enjoy the view on the houses with gorgeous gardens.
- You also may stay for lunch in the village or in the country side, your driver is able to suggest nice romantic restaurants such as a watermill restaurant…
- Then you may visit the Impressionism museum of Giverny.
Impressionnism Museum of Giverny:
Is dedicated to the history of impressionism and its continuation in the Giverny art colony and along the valley of the river Seine.
Please Note that Giverny is only 1,5 hours from Honfleur and 2 hours from D-Day beach of Normandy.
